Everything You Need To Know To Become A Guide!
With Fish On Colorado’s guide school you will gain your certifications required to be a float guide on Colorado rivers. Even if you don’t want to become a guide and simply want to ensure you have the necessary skills to safely row for fly-fishing or other recreational purposes, this class is for you.

About Guide School
Guide school will take place over two extended weekends. March 8-10 based out of Glenwood Springs and then again March 15-17 hopefully on the Upper Colorado. We will be starting at 7:30 a.m. each day. The course will be a total of 50 hours plus guiding real clients on the last day. Each day you will need to provide your own lunch, snack, drinks etc… Dress appropriately for the weather and of course bring your fly fishing gear for when you are not on the sticks. We will provide a work book, the state required log sheets to be completed after each day. After the completion of the school you will need to have a current First Aid and CPR certificate in order to guide for an outfitter.
